Nicolo Galini Series

We are proud to offer our workshop series violins “Nicolo Galini,” which was named by several Italian violinmakers. Nicolo means “winner of the people” and Galini means “calm and peaceful.” People make the best decision when they are in a calm state. You feel more in control of your emotions and your life, hear your own thoughts, have clearer communication, and enjoy better health.

All Nicolo Galini violins are hand-made of quality seasoned maple and spruce and have a tone quality and workmanship normally found in instruments costing much more. Nicolo Galini violins are now available in three models. The Allegro model is an excellent choice for advancing players. The Cadenza and Maestro models are made by more senior violin makers with finer quality aged wood for musicians requiring the best tone quality. The varnish is a new formulation, carefully applied and beautifully antiqued giving each instrument the patina of age, so desired by musicians. They are as beautiful tonally as they are visual. The Maestro model has been designed for advanced students and professional musicians who need an instrument that will complement and enhance their artistic style. The Maestro models are very special violins and are only available in limited numbers.

Allegro

The Allegro model violins are a great choice for the advancing student. The Allegro model would also be a good choice for a second violin for the more advanced player too.

The Allegro model was created using beautifully flamed aged maple and an attractively shaded golden orange varnish of a softer texture. The tone is powerful, clear, even, and fast response.

They are available in full as well as fractional sizes; from 3/4 violin down to 1/8 violin.

Cadenza

The Cadenza model violins are a great choice for the advanced student. The Cadenza model would also be a good choice for a second violin for the professional player.

Maestro

The Maestro model violins are a great choice for the advanced or professional musicians. The tone is mature, deep, powerful, full, warm, focused, clear, and rich. Most musicians would love to own a fine old Italian instrument, but these days, prices have increased so much due to demand, that few can afford them. With this in mind, we started the development of what was to become the Maestro model. The Maestro model violins are carefully hand varnished by the more senior violin makers to emulate the appearance of a fine old Stradivari or Guarneri violins.
